This previous fortnight has taken the AIS Women's Basketball team from one extreme to the other.

With a team season high where the girls snatched their first win for the season against the Townsville Fire.

A couple of things to look out for while watching the replay;

•         The wonderful commentary and encouragement from our camera woman and blog poster, Bec Allen.

•         Brownie's (AKA Phil Brown) insane double fist pumping at exactly 1.23.48

•         The Grand Final atmosphere :)

However....

After such an encouraging and uplifting week, the girls struggled against the Bendigo Spirit and had a very disappointing loss. (We recommend not to look at any of this game).

The Spirit came out firing after their own disappointing loss in their last game.

We have all decided to erase this game from our memory and look forward to the double header this weekend against Bendigo Spirit and Bulleen Boomers.

It will be very challenging for the AIS girls going into this tough double header and then backing up with another game against Canberra Capitals on Wednesday 14th, making this 3 games in 5 days, nevertheless we have nothing to lose!
